Having used lower standard rechargeable toothbrushes for a couple of years, I thought to myself, ‘what else can a rechargeable toothbrush do other than what its doing now?’
I found the answer when I purchased the Braun Oral-B Sonic Complete. From the first moment I started to use the toothbrush, I could feel a world of difference. And when I had finished cleaning my teeth for the first time, my whole mouth felt so fresh and clean, I was annoyed at myself for not buying one sooner.
The option of two brushing modes was something I had never seen before but something I find so useful now. The ‘Clean’ mode gives you enough power to completely and thoroughly clean your teeth and gums and the ‘Soft’ mode caters for the more sensitive areas in your mouth. I personally find it useful as a while ago, some enamel from my front teeth came away which now means I need to be careful when cleaning them. All I do is change the brush mode from ‘Clean’ to ‘Soft’ when brushing the front of my teeth and I’m safe in the knowledge that I will not be doing any more damage.
Another fantastic feature of this toothbrush is the timer. The toothbrush allows you to concentrate on specific areas of the mouth for the right amount of time so you don’t under / over brush. It does this by letting you know when 30 seconds are up (by a short break in sound) so you can cover the 4 sections of your mouth (top left, bottom left, top right, bottom right) in the 2 minutes that is the recommended duration for teeth cleaning. A longer break in sound occurs when the 2 minutes are up.
The Braun Oral-B Sonic Complete has a real feel of durability about is. The toothbrush itself is sturdy and larger than any other toothbrush I have used before which gives me the feel of extra control. The charger base is solid and a light will flash when it’s charging and shine continuously when fully charged so you know when its ready for use.

Just started using my Braun Oral B Sonic Complete, as an electric tooth brush advocate for a number of years I was a tad dubious whether the extra expenditure would be wothwhile - I am pleased to say it is, my teeth have never felt so clean. The sonic cleaning action is far superior to the normal electric toothbrush. I recommend that anyone looking to replace an old electric toothbrush should upgrade to a sonic model - you will not be disapointed.
I like sonic toothbrushes. Since starting to use sonic instead of the ordinary power brushes, my time at the dentist has been substantially reduced as I now only have minor decaling. Prior to the conversion to sonic, I kept the dental hygienist gainfully employed. So sonic works for me!
My previous sonic toothbrush (another brand) expired from plastic fatigue as the plastic insert that connected the head to the main body vibrated itself into a fractue. The Braun uses a metal connection and I have high hopes for it.
You will have read that a sonic toothbrush takes getting used to. The Braun has a small head that gets round the back teeth well and the sound is not a problem - so give it a try.
The brush itself looks good and feels robust in the hand. I have had this brush now for two weeks and happily recommend it
I received this as a Christmas gift just last Dec 2006. Bearly after 9 months, the recharge started to fail. Instead of 2 weeks once, it quickly drop to 3 days, then today it is just the 11th month, it stopped recharge completely. Does it mean that I have to change the rechargeable battery once every 12 months? Or is this just freak.

Like some of the other reviewers, I wondered what the hell I had bought when I tried this brush. For the last few years I have had conventional electric toothbrushes and was used to a bit more action. This thing just seemed to sit there, buzzing. How wrong I was. I started to use the brush like a normal toothbrush and after a week my teeth look whiter than they have looked for years. I have just returned from a dental check-up. The dentist was gobsmacked (an appropriate word in the circumstances) and asked if I had already seen the hygenist. I told her I have been using a sonic brush and she said they were brilliant. I said I used it like a normal brush and she said that wasn't necessary, I could just work it from side to side like the other kind because the bristles vibrate on the surface of the tooth.
It's not as if the brush costs an arm and a leg. Give it a try. I'm not going to stop using it just because it doesn't feel as if it's doing anything. I have personal proof that it does.
I've tried other eToothbrushes - they do work, but I didn't like the 'power-tool in the mouth' sensation they gave me. I gave this a try because it looked like a conventional toothbrush and promised to have less 'action' than the other eToothbrushes I've used. It has very little 'action', but that's a plus for me.
I drink a lot of coffee, and wanted to give an eToothbrush a chance at reducing the staining that conventional brushes were doing nothing about. Let me tell you - this eToothbrush started making a visible difference within a few days. It's almost unbelievable how much difference it made in the first week - 'nuff said.
This brush if used like a normal brush, ie circular motion and brushing, the vibrating head gets all the plaque from between the teeth.
My dentist says my teeth are great now with good gums, this brush does a great job.

Had an older sonicare toothbrush (about 3 yas old), which at the time i thought was superb....... then i bought this. Its unbelievable. I wondered whether it would be worth the money, and it is. After every time i use it im amazed at how clean my teeth feel. My whole mouth just feels great.
If you've never bought & sonic toothbrush & especially a sonicare one from phillips i strongly reccomend you to get this as its superb !
Like a few other people I have had previous versions but this is just amazing! So much lighter in weight and the battery power is astonishing. OK my previous model needed charging every four days towards the end of its 5 year life but this one lasted a whole month on its first charge.
The brush heads are nicely shaped to your teeth and clean so very well. I did read some problems with the On/Off button collapsing into the handle in other models (not this Flexicare version) so I hope as time goes by they have fixed this issue with this one.
Don't hesitate. This is truly a magnificent toothbrush and a joy to use.
Don't hesitate, this is the best brush there is. Had an old style Philips Sonicare and thought it was time to upgrade. So I tried the Oral B Triumph for a change plus the good reviews it had, but it wasn't for me. This brush has a slim brush and handle which I find easier to use. My teeth have never looked cleaner! Well perhaps when I'd just left the hygienist they had. I'm happy with it and feel the upgrade was well worth it.

This is a brilliant product for anyone with close-spaced teeth who finds wooden picks, floss etc impossible. This is an amazing product. It combines a hair dryer and straighteners in one and the syle lasts. I have fine hair in a bob, which is just below chin level. I usually use a hair dryer and then straighten it as I find that the ends go all fluffy. I used this hot air styler and was amazed at the effect I managed to achieve at my first attempt. If you clip your hair up and do it in small sections, it comes out beautifully smooth and with a bit of body. I must admit that my arms ached a bit doing it like this, but it was well worth it. I have also tried pre-drying it a little bit with the hot air styler by drying it from underneath with the brush. This cuts down on the time spent with arms up in the air, but it's not quite as perfect as doing it as previously decribed. The other great thing is that the syle lasts. You can sleep on it and the next morning, it still looks good. It seems to bounce back into place and doesn't go flat or frizzy. This is as near as I have ever managed to getting my hair look as though it has been done at the hairdressers, but the effect lasts longer than when done by the hair dressers. I am really enthusiastic about this hot air styler as it has really made my hair look good. The only small thing against it is that the instruction leaflet is not very good at explaining how it all works. You need to read the information on Amazon, which explains it well. Amazon were selling this much cheaper than anywhere else and this amazing hot air styler was a real bargain.
This review is being written following the happy reaction of my wife who has been delightedly using the Airstyler for just under a week. It's basically a cross between a hair dryer, a styling brush and a set of ceramic straightens - doing all three jobs at once. It took her only two uses to "master" the best way of using it and she was singing its praises straight away. As there's nothing else on the market quite like it it's hard to do a comparison but in a nutshell the airstlyer has three heat settings at which it blow the air at. The air is forced out of the syling end where you have two sets of nine upright tourmaline coated ceramic straightening plates which are positioned at either side of a large flat ceramic plate. There are also two de-tangling combs and an ionic conditioner built in to help prevent frizzing and splitting......
(Hope you kept up with all of that ! !)..... Anyway - to the conclusion..... The Babyliss Airstyler is ideally suited for short to mid length hair styles and for those who want and need a hair straightener that doesn't just straighten but provides a lot more verstility and choice..... I bought this on the strength of the reviews I had already seen on the site and I was not disappointed. So long aching arms as I try to blow dry my hair with a round brush and hairdryer, the Hot Air Styler blow dries my hair, literally like I just stepped out of the hairdressers. My hair is a jaw length bob and I can honestly say my hair has never looked better. I worried when I first get my hair cut to this length as I knew I would hate the whole blow drying for 30 minutes to try and get it to sit right but it literally takes 10 minutes to mousse and then style my hair. I love the different tension settings ( I have my at 4) and the heat settings are perfect too. I use the hottest set to dry my hair at the roots and then the cooler to set my hair into shape. I use the cold setting (marked with a *) when I have my hair totally finished and want to 'set' the style. One downer I would say is that the hotter setting is pretty hot and you have to be careful even holding your hair after it has been through the plates as it is pretty roasting. Watch out not to burn your fingers!
when I don't want to blowdry my hair into a bob, I 'comb' the styler through my hair, with the bristles facing down towards my scalp and it just gives it a nice 'finished' look and leaves my hair really shiny and nice.
I feel like an evangelist when I talk about this styler to my husband and friends but really is the best thing since sliced bread for me. For girls with short, bobbed styles, you can't go wrong!!

I have been buying GHD for years and have had 2 pairs, the other day they snaped and broke, me thinking there is a £100.00 gone again.
My mate told me she had got some remington hair straighteners and they were brill. Got these for £16.00 inc delivery and they worked just as good as my GHD's but cost no where near the amount, they did not pull on my hair and provided the right heat in one stroke. 'O' my hair is curly long and a bit of frizz.
Will never go back to GHD's again, cost too much and now the competitors are doing a good job will never waist that money.

I've had these straightners for a few weeks now and even though I dont use them every single day I definitely think they're worth the money. They heat up really quickly and straighten hair just as fast. If you're looking for a cheap pair of straightners that simply do the job without you just paying for a good label then I would certainly reccommend these.

I have had these products before, they do their job very well and my kids teeth are great.
They have a blue stripe through them which indiates when they need replacing, they generally last a couple of months each, depending on how well the person uses their toothbrush. Not cheap but I have tried cheaper and they were rubbish!
