This is an amazing product. It combines a hair dryer and straighteners in one and the syle lasts. I have fine hair in a bob, which is just below chin level. I usually use a hair dryer and then straighten it as I find that the ends go all fluffy. I used this hot air styler and was amazed at the effect I managed to achieve at my first attempt. If you clip your hair up and do it in small sections, it comes out beautifully smooth and with a bit of body. I must admit that my arms ached a bit doing it like this, but it was well worth it. I have also tried pre-drying it a little bit with the hot air styler by drying it from underneath with the brush. This cuts down on the time spent with arms up in the air, but it's not quite as perfect as doing it as previously decribed. The other great thing is that the syle lasts. You can sleep on it and the next morning, it still looks good. It seems to bounce back into place and doesn't go flat or frizzy. This is as near as I have ever managed to getting my hair look as though it has been done at the hairdressers, but the effect lasts longer than when done by the hair dressers. I am really enthusiastic about this hot air styler as it has really made my hair look good. The only small thing against it is that the instruction leaflet is not very good at explaining how it all works. You need to read the information on Amazon, which explains it well. Amazon were selling this much cheaper than anywhere else and this amazing hot air styler was a real bargain.
This review is being written following the happy reaction of my wife who has been delightedly using the Airstyler for just under a week. It's basically a cross between a hair dryer, a styling brush and a set of ceramic straightens - doing all three jobs at once. It took her only two uses to "master" the best way of using it and she was singing its praises straight away. As there's nothing else on the market quite like it it's hard to do a comparison but in a nutshell the airstlyer has three heat settings at which it blow the air at. The air is forced out of the syling end where you have two sets of nine upright tourmaline coated ceramic straightening plates which are positioned at either side of a large flat ceramic plate. There are also two de-tangling combs and an ionic conditioner built in to help prevent frizzing and splitting......
(Hope you kept up with all of that ! !)..... Anyway - to the conclusion..... The Babyliss Airstyler is ideally suited for short to mid length hair styles and for those who want and need a hair straightener that doesn't just straighten but provides a lot more verstility and choice..... At around £30 this represents good value for the different uses you'll be able to put it too. Recommended.

I bought this on the strength of the reviews I had already seen on the site and I was not disappointed. So long aching arms as I try to blow dry my hair with a round brush and hairdryer, the Hot Air Styler blow dries my hair, literally like I just stepped out of the hairdressers. My hair is a jaw length bob and I can honestly say my hair has never looked better. I worried when I first get my hair cut to this length as I knew I would hate the whole blow drying for 30 minutes to try and get it to sit right but it literally takes 10 minutes to mousse and then style my hair. I love the different tension settings ( I have my at 4) and the heat settings are perfect too. I use the hottest set to dry my hair at the roots and then the cooler to set my hair into shape. I use the cold setting (marked with a *) when I have my hair totally finished and want to 'set' the style. One downer I would say is that the hotter setting is pretty hot and you have to be careful even holding your hair after it has been through the plates as it is pretty roasting. Watch out not to burn your fingers!
when I don't want to blowdry my hair into a bob, I 'comb' the styler through my hair, with the bristles facing down towards my scalp and it just gives it a nice 'finished' look and leaves my hair really shiny and nice.
I feel like an evangelist when I talk about this styler to my husband and friends but really is the best thing since sliced bread for me. For girls with short, bobbed styles, you can't go wrong!!
