Bosch ART 23 Li - Cordless Grass Trimmer
This trimmer is just the job! I have arthritis and cannot carry heavy things but the Bosch ART 23 LI grass Trimmer is light enough for me to use without strain. I have a large garden of 3/4 acre and the charge lasts long enough for trimming around most of my borders. Its dual handles make it comfortable to hold and it is very quiet in use. The best feature is the ease with which you can change the plastic blades, it couldn't be simpler. It even has a holder to carry a couple of spare blades with you as you work. The blades do wear down quite quickly depending on how often you hit anything hard with them but this is mainly down to the user. I found my first time using it I kept hitting posts and wire fencing but as I'm becoming more accurate with it, the blades are lasting longer.
I haven't timed the recharge but it seemed to recharge quickly. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.
Appears to work quite well and was pleased that I did not have to change out the Trimmer Blades, unalike the older strimmers which needed constant renewal. The battery takes 3 hours to charge and would estimate that I got around three quarters of an hours life on each of the occassions that I have used it. Quite light to carry and easy to use. Would have liked more life in the battery. A two hour stint would have been perfect. However it cut fairly long grass and am pleased so far.
Excellent product. Light and easy to use. Suitable for small gardens and not for heavy work.
