This toothbrush rocks!! It has all the features you realistically need without paying ridiculous prices.
It has a charge light which flashes until it's fully charged. It is very powerful and does all the work for you. Since I've been using electric toothbrushes I've noticed my teeth feel cleaner and shinier, and I no longer have bleeding gums which I really struggled with before.
It has a 30 second vibrate function which is useful for knowing when to switch sides and most usefully of all tells you when you've been brushing for 2 minutes. I'm pretty sure it re-sets each time as well which is an improvement on the previous model.
Can't think of anything bad to say - this is a great toothbrush that does a fanstastic job without you needlessly having to spend loads. Buy it!!
I have had this toothbrush for 3 years or so and have just bought a new one: the battery's ability to hold charge diminishes with time, and I reckon that 3 years is pretty good going.
It is functional, uncomplicated and an excellent aid to good oral hygeine. The timer functions-a reminder every 30 seconds and a fuller reminder after 2 minutes- make it easy to be systematic about cleaning all one's teeth. The actual cleaning action is highly effective, without being too harsh.
The material of which the body of the device is made is smooth to the touch, but doesn't get slippy when wet, so the unit is easy to handle. There is a tendency for the area near where the brush attaches and the base to get dirty over time, but regular wiping down keeps this at bay.
Recharge intervals, assuming 2 minutes use twice a day, are around 10 days. [Oh, and the recharger unit shown in the picture on this site isn't the one that comes with the brush-the real one is a low-profile unit without the upright stand shown; much more compact].
All in all, I highly recommend this toothbrush, particularly at the price it is currently offered at.
I purchased one of these last year and my gingivits problems have disappeared. I could never go back to a manual toothbrush - or even one without the pulsations - they really clean the gums! This toothbrush is so good I have just bought another one for my partner.
